Recently while fishing on the bottom with worms in a private lake in Palm Beach County Fla I caught a catfish that had a dorsal fin that ran from the top of the head to the tail. It also had a matching fin running from just behind it's anus to the tail. The tail was small and rounded and did not square off like a normal catfish. It had a small mouth and weighed about a pound and a half and pound for pound had as much fight as a gamefish twice it's weight. The fish had no spike in it's dorsal fin and I do not believe it had spikes in it's pelvic fins. It had very long whiskers.
Do you have any idea what I caught?
Regards, Don C
