Northern Pike

To fish for these great fish we usually go to Big Sand L. in Wisconsin, Belwood L. in the upper Grand or the Conestoga R. right here in Ontario. These fish have no small appetite. The have been known to eat things 2/3 as large as themselves and have the tail sticking out of its mouth as it swims around waiting for the head to digest. The smaller pike (hammer handles) tend to not fight too well, but as for the large ones, hold on!
